News trading is restricted, but not completely prohibited on Investabl. The following rules apply during the 5-minute news window and apply to both the Evaluation and Funded phases.
Opening Trades During the News Window
You may open new trades during the 5-minute news window. However, any profit generated from trades opened during this window will not count.
Closing Trades During the News Window
If a position is closed during the 5-minute news window, any profit generated during that window will not count.
This applies to both:
Manual trade closures
Automatic Stop Loss (SL) or Take Profit (TP) triggers
Swing Trader Exception
Trades that were opened at least 5 hours before the news window are exempt from this restriction.
Profits from these existing trades will count normally, even if the trade is closed during the news window.
