What is the profit target?
You need to make 8% profit based on your starting account balance to reach the evaluation profit target.
For example:
$1,000 account → $80 profit target
$5,000 account → $400 profit target
$10,000 account → $800 profit target
Reaching the 8% profit target alone does not automatically mean you have passed the evaluation. You must also meet the required profitable days and the 50% consistency rule.
What counts as a profitable day?
A profitable day is a trading day where you make at least 0.25% profit based on your starting account balance.
For example, on a $1,000 account, you need to make at least $2.50 profit on a trading day for it to count as a profitable day.
You need to complete at least 3 profitable days to pass the evaluation.
These days do not have to be consecutive.
A new trading day starts at 00:00 UTC.
What is the 50% consistency rule?
The 50% consistency rule means that no single trading day can make up more than 50% of your total profit.
For example, if your total profit is $100, your most profitable day cannot contribute more than $50 of that profit.
If one trading day makes up more than 50% of your total profit, this does not mean your account is breached. Your evaluation or pass is simply put on hold until you make enough additional profit on other trading days to meet the consistency requirement.
Nothing you have earned is lost, and you can continue trading to meet the requirement.
What is the maximum drawdown?
The maximum drawdown is 8%, measured using your account equity.
If your account starts with $1,000, meaning your equity must never fall below $920.
What is the daily loss limit?
The daily loss limit is 4% of your day-start equity.
At 00:00 UTC each day, your account equity is recorded.
From that point onward, your equity cannot fall by more than 4% during that trading day.
For example:
Day-start equity: $1,000
Daily loss limit: $40
The limit resets every day using your latest day start equity.
What happens if I breach a rule?
Evaluation rules are enforced automatically by our trading engine.
If your account breaches either the:
Maximum Drawdown
Daily Loss Limit
your evaluation account will be closed immediately.
Engine-enforced breaches are final and cannot be manually reversed.
Do the trading days have to be consecutive?
No. Your 3 profitable trading days do not have to be consecutive.
You can take breaks between trading days as long as you complete the required number of profitable days.
Is there a time limit to complete the evaluation?
No. There is no expiry or fixed time limit for completing the evaluation.
You can take as much time as you need to reach the profit target and complete the required profitable days while staying within the trading rules.
Can I reset my account?
No.
Evaluation accounts cannot be reset.
If your account is breached, you'll need to purchase another challenge.
How can I track my evaluation progress?
You can track your balance, equity, profit, drawdown, and trading activity directly on the Investabl platform.
Remember: reaching the 8% profit target is only one part of passing. You must also complete 3 profitable trading days and meet the 50% consistency rule.
